Naturopathic medicine is based on a holistic approach to healing. The patient's complete set of symptoms, emotional or mental components and environment are all taken into consideration. These methods are used for the management of a broad range of health conditions and for patients of all ages.The Naturopathic Physician is trained to use numerous modalities, or methods, to help patients reach optimal health. Included in these modalities are therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and physical medicine. Naturopathic Physicians often work in conjunction with the patient's other medical specialists to coordinate the patient's treatments.
